2 Weddings in 1 Day

Pst Joy and I were involved in 2 Wedding Rehearsals today in preparation for 2 Weddings on Saturday! A new marker for me... but I don't want to try 3 in a day! Arya and Tiwik will be married at the Bellagio in the morning and Sunny and Mansha will be married at the Hotel Manhatten in the evening. These two awesome couples launch into this new phase of life with the full support of our ICCJ Family and I would like to ask you to pray for both of these couples and for good fruit from both of these weddings which are designed to minister to many from other faiths as they "rub shoulders" with us during these blessed events! Thank you for praying!

New Sound System Offering Next Sunday

Thank you all for your exuberant response in preparation for next weeks offering for the new speakers and sound equipment! The system that we are planning to purchase (which we are already using) will serve our needs for years to come. It is important that most every member of ICCJ shows a "vote of confidence" since we are a community and we work together in every area. The number of people who give towards the sound system is equally important to the amount collected. I am looking to see at least 200 envelopes submitted from small to large amounts... remember the slogan of the campaign that raised the funds for the facility we all enjoy now... "equal sacrifice, not equal giving." Giving what you can... even what you feel might be a small amount adds up and is powerful! Thank you for your generous and sacrificial effort! You are blessed and you are a blessing! Amen!

My Birthday --- Thank You ICCJ!!!

I want to thank all of you for giving me such a wonderful surprise birthday celebration at the 2nd service today. Pst Joy and I are blessed to be connected with all of you and we are grateful to God that He has allowed us to be your Pastors! This time also marks my 1 year and 1 month mark as the Sr Pastor of ICCJ. As I reflect on what we have accomplished together, I am amazed... but I expect even greater things this year! Thank you for your support, loyalty and dedication to the Kingdom of God!

What an awesome year for missions!!!

It was just a year ago when the ICCJ Family pledged just over 1 Billion Rupiah for missions. Of course you all experienced God's blessing as you excercised your faith and more then met that pledge... but then this year! We went for a goal of 1.5 Billion Rupiah but we surpassed the 2 Billion mark!!! (for those of you following the ministry from beyond Indonesia, that is approximately US$220,000) With the amount that we also put into missions from our Church general fund, we will undoubtedly invest more than US$300,000 this year into God's Kingdom beyond ourselves! What surprises me is that though the commitment doubled, the congregation has not... yes, we have grown a significant amount, maybe more than 30%, but that does not translate into double missions giving. Rather, I believe that you the ICCJ Family are deepening in your commitment to the Kingdom, you are experiencing blessing from God and you also believe in the Mission Program and the awesome leadership of Pst Rishi as he spearheads this wonderful endeavor for the glory of God! Amen! ICCJ... I am so proud to be your Pastor and I am expecting great reports in the near future! You are awesome!!!

• Dr. Tan Khian Seng from S'pore is our special speaker on Sunday 21 October. He has a prophetic and intercession ministry and has experienced among many miracles, supernatural debt cancellation both in his own life and in the lives of others he has ministered to. He is a particular blessing to business people and is a consultant to many well known companies.
• Secret Success series on 11 November and 18 November! I introduced this topic this last Sunday and we have never received so many requests for copies of the service and I have also not received so very many sms's of people saying how blessed they were. This series is based on my own experiences in the world of success teachings from my days as a business person and is additionally inspired by two recent books: The Secret by Rhonda Byrne which has caused a worldwide stir and The Secret Things of God by Dr. Henry Cloud which is not just a Christian response to The Secret but takes it to another level... obviously, since the Bible is the greatest book ever written about success. You will not want to miss inviting your friends from all backgrounds to this series. They will learn a great deal and will be blessed as they discover the secret to true success in this life and for eternity!
• JAKJAZZ!!! ICCJ is conducting the Christian Service on 25 November at 9:30am at the JakJazz Festival. We will not have services at the Bellagio on this day. This is an exciting opportunity to bring your friends to Church without bringing them to Church! A definite OUTREACH chance that you want to fully pursue!
